1. How do I register?

Once you have contacted us via our online booking system or any other available contact method, we will send you a registration form.
2. Where is it located?
The site is situated in the centre of the Setúbal Peninsula, in the municipality of Seixal.
Rua Eugénio dos Santos, 93, Pinhal dos Frades.
(Between the A2 motorway viaducts and the railway line)
3. How can I access the campsite?
Please contact us via WhatsApp as this is quicker. If you do not receive a reply, please call Samuel Dias first ( +351 963828974 ).
Once we’ve confirmed we have availability for you, you can head to the site provided you arrive before 8.00 pm (during summer time). A member of staff will show you where the facilities and parking areas are. You can choose whichever available pitch you prefer.
We will immediately provide you with a key, subject to a €25.00 deposit. Please pay in cash where possible, as this amount will be refunded in cash or via a staff member’s personal bank account.
4. How does payment work?
If you arrive between 8.00 am and 4.00 pm, you are entitled to 4 hours free of charge to decide whether you like the venue. Payment is due 4 hours after your arrival or by 8.00 pm.
A WhatsApp group will be set up for your family with one or more staff members who will be available to assist with whatever you need. Payment methods will be provided in this group.
If you decide not to stay, there will be no charge, but please consider making a small donation to the charity.
5. Is a receipt issued?
Yes, if you wish. If you pay by bank transfer, ATM or MBWay (portuguese users), the amount is deposited into the Cruz Azul de Portugal account.
After you leave our property, we will send you a short evaluation questionnaire and details for sending the receipt.
Please note that the key deposit of €25.00 is a refundable amount and has not been included in the institution’s accounts. It will be returned in cash or transferred via MBWay by one of the campsite staff.
6. An important matter: your safety!
During your stay on our property, all guests will be part of a shared group called “Campsite Users”, with at least one member from each family.
This group is intended to provide assistance to any guest in the event of an emergency, to share Civil Protection alerts, updates on works on the property, and suggestions for group activities. Please do not use this group for general matters. Do not post “Good morning…”, “Good night everyone…”, etc...
7. Is Arado Azul Camping a campsite?
No. Arado Azul Camping is a project run by Cruz Azul de Portugal, as set out in its Articles of Association. Cruz Azul provides the site for this social purpose, offering an affordable price intended to fund improvements to the site and to fulfil the organisation’s other objectives.
8. Is there a swimming pool?
Yes, there is a small swimming pool, but it is for groups only. Use of the pool requires a member of staff to be on duty at all times. Guests staying in tents, caravans and motorhomes do not have access to this facility.
